Forms and usage of English grammatical structures in communicative contexts with emphasis on the relationships between the grammatical forms and usage of spoken and written structures including parts of speech, word order, sentence forms, subject-verb agreement, voices and tenses at the levels of simple sentences, compound sentences, and complex sentences. Practice analyzing the grammatical forms and usage of spoken and written structures in communicative contexts with various exercises which let the students practice using grammar learnt in different communicative meanings via the daily-life authentic materials such as newspaper, journals, pamphlets, brochures, advertisement pieces of papers, and internet.
